Born and raised in Rothrist, Switzerland, Kilian Braun is a sports fanatic, adventurous, and always on the lookout for the biggest adrenaline kick, whether riding his mountain bike downhill or freeriding somewhere in the backcountry in winter. After his apprenticeship as a carpenter, Kilian became a ski teacher in the mountain resort of Engelberg in Switzerland, which in the past few years has become his second home. Kilian's passion, however, has always been ice hockey. He spends every free minute on the ice – and has been doing so ever since he was five years old. Alongside his very active sporting life, Kilian spends time studying interior design. Despite his fascination for ice hockey, he somehow missed the adrenaline kick in this sport, which explains how he got into ice cross downhill. The more extreme, the better! Braun loves fast, steep, and difficult tracks – that's when he really excels.
