Bio

Dean Moriarity likes to be in the middle of the action, and he keeps himself busy. While studying in aeronautical engineering, the 19-year-old boy from LaSalle, Québec, works at the Montreal International Airport as a ramp agent, off-loading and loading planes. When he has some free time, Dean enjoys keeping himself active by practising various sports like surfing, golfing, inline skating, and playing hockey. He's constantly improving his skills and gets ready for ice cross downhill season by working on his agility, speed, and balance. Dean was first introduced to ice cross downhill when he saw a Red Bull Crashed Ice commercial on television a few years ago. At that time, he was too young to participate so he waited and continued playing hockey at a competitive level as well as training. In 2013, he qualified in his hometown with his twin brother – Dylan – who was just as passionate about the sport and they made their way to Niagara Falls, Ontario, for their first Red Bull Crashed Ice competition. Dean finished with a strong 16th position and instantly wanted to keep pushing the limits.
