One Night in Munich

What a sight! The ice track snakes majestically down the hill against the backdrop of Munich's Olympic Stadium.

#

And action...the gates fly open and racing was underway.

#

The crowd were treated to some amazing sights as riders tackled the biggest jump in history.

#

Tristan Dugerdil glides effortlessly into the lead during the Round of 32.

#

But it wasn't so smooth for everyone, as Matt Johnson fell head over heels for the track's fiendish charms.

#

Even on this daunting track Dean Moriarity proved there was still room for some tricks.

#

The fans turned out in force and enjoyed every minute of the action.

#

And the women treated the crowd to some amazing drama as Jacqueline Legere and Myriam Trepanier tumbled their way down the last slope in the Final.

#

But it was Jacqueline who just about found her feet at the right moment and edged over the line for the win.

#

Celebration time...a great win for the Canadian and what a feeling it was.

#

Scott Croxall had his game face on from the start, forcing his way through the early rounds.

#

Then it was a close call as he just about sneaked past Dean Moriarity on the line in the Semi-Final.

#

"Surprise, it's me!" A familiar face crosses the line first in the Final as powerhouse Cameron Naasz surged to his second win of the season.

#

Cameron celebrates on the podium with Scott Croxall in second and Kyle Croxall in third.
