Shootouts and Showdowns in Snowy Finland

It was a glorious day in Jyväskylä-Laajis as blue skies lit up the snow-kissed terrain.

Challengers were hoping to break out of the shadows and put pressure on the elite over this record-breaking 630m track.

Evening fell and the gates burst open for the Team Event.

Team Finland got off to a great start on their home track.

They were roared on by a crowd of local fans who lined the sides of the natural ice track.

Whoosh! The flying Finns were almost a blur as they powered into the Final.

Meanwhile, Living the Dream were laying to rest the ghosts of Munich against Team UNRL.

It was a mouthwatering Final, and the local fans went wild for their team during a tight race.

#

But it was Cameron Naasz and Kyle Croxall who eventually powered home to give LTD the victory.

#

The Jyväskylä snow had its first taste of bubbly as the corks were popped on the podium.
