Show Amanda Trunzo some love

Amanda Trunzo first saw the sport of Red Bull Crashed Ice when she was playing D1 hockey out east at Dartmouth College. While watching this event, some Canadian teammates of hers told her she should do it and once she graduated and had the opportunity to try out, she hasn't looked back. She first competed in 2012 in Quebec City, where she finished 4th overall. Amanda then competed for the next year and a half but had to step away for two years as she was a college hockey coach and the schedule didn't correspond. In 2015, she was contacted by Team USA to join the full women's tour for the 2015/16 season, which she quickly accepted. Finishing 3rd for the USA last season and 8th in the world rankings, she is hoping to reach some podium finishes and get herself in a great position to be the first USA women's world champion this year. When not on the ice she can be found coaching high school hockey, hanging out on the lake in the summer and spending time with her two dogs.
