Tamara Kajah in Edmonton

Show Tamara Kajah some love

Tamara Kajah was taught to ski at age 3, then turned her attentions to snowboarding a few years later. It was racing down the hills with her brother and sister where she discovered her love for speed, although most of her ice cross downhill skills were gained from playing hockey - a career which reached its peak when she played one season with the UBC Thunderbirds. Tamara was introduced to Red Bull Crashed Ice by her friend and fellow competitor, Jacqueline Legere, and after her first race in 2014 she was hooked. It didn't take long before she found herself on the podium, when in 2015 she placed third at both the race in St. Paul and at the world championship in Edmonton. In the off season, soccer and surfing take up most of Tamara's time.
