Riders Cup

THE RIDERS CUP COMPETITION

The Riders Cup competition is designed to make the sport of ice cross downhill more accessible to even more athletes worldwide. It doubles the number of events this year to eight, with athletes also able to earn World Championship points at the four additional events. Those participating in the four Riders Cup events, which were added by popular demand, will be able to earn up to 25 percent of the points awarded at the four major Red Bull Crashed Ice stops. Competitors from more than 15 different nations train year-round. Athletes from a variety of different sporting backgrounds – everything from downhill skiing to mountain-biking – compete in ice cross downhill competitions, such as Red Bull Crashed Ice events and Riders Cup competitions.
