Sydney O'Keefe

Sydney is a former D1 athlete, having played four years for the women's ice hockey team at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. She coached for five years at a prep school, Shattuck-St.Mary's, winning four national championships. She was introduced to the sport in 2013 by a former college teammate, and went on to win the first female race in St. Paul, MN advancing her to the championships in Quebec City that year. In 2015/16 her best finishes were taking 3rd in Germany, 4th in Finland, and third overall in the European Tour. What got her hooked to competing are the places you go, the people you meet, and the sheer thrill of the sport ice cross down hill.
