The fifth and final Riders Cup event of the season had to be cancelled on Saturday due to unseasonably warm temperatures in Bathurst, Canada. Temperatures failed to fall below zero in the days leading up to the event, making the track impossible to race on. It means that all points and rankings after La Sarre will be unchanged ahead of the Red Bull Crashed Ice finale in Ottawa.
All focus now turns to that season climax in Ottawa on Saturday March 4, where defending champions Cameron Naasz and Jacqueline Legere are well placed to retain their world championship titles. Will they power to victory once again, or will one of the pack of hungry challengers snatch glory in Canada?
